Two arrested following Princeton pursuit

Two Princeton men are facing multiple charges following a pursuit in Princeton Saturday that ended in a wreck.

According to a news release, the Princeton Police Department responded to Walmart for reports of a wanted person in the parking lot. Upon arrival, a vehicle driven by 24-year old Joseph Peirce of Princeton reportedly fled the scene, starting a pursuit that lasted 11 miles before ending in the dead end of Donahue Road when Peirce reportedly lost control of the vehicle.

Peirce was charged with fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, reckless driving, possession of an open alcohol container in a vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, felony receiving stolen property auto and driving on a DUI suspended license.

A passenger in the vehicle, 23-year old Tyler Long, was charged with possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.
