Additional details have been released on a shooting Saturday night on Glenwood Way that injured a local man.
The victim is identified as 63-year old Kenneth Mclay and the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department says he was shot in the left elbow. He told deputies he had walked outside a home at 7604 Glenwood about 10:30 p.m. when unknown suspects fired several shots at him from the bushes of a nearby yard.
Mclay received treatment at the scene and was then taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigation revealed the home had been shot twice and a parked car had its windows shot out. Police believe the suspect fired at least five or six shots toward Mclay before fleeing the scene.
The Hopkinsville Police Department assisted in the investigation at the scene. Anyone with information should call the Christian County Sheriff’s Department at 270-887-4143.
