Despite closing the season with two wins including Saturday’s win over Louisiana Tech, Western Kentucky announced the firing of Mike Sanford following two seasons Sunday. Sanford was 9-16 in his two seasons on the Hill. According to a news release from the school, a search for Sanford’s replacement is underway.
