Suspect crashes car after alleged domestic assault early Thanksgiving morning

An alleged domestic assault at Grupo Antolin early Thanksgiving Day morning led to the suspect crashing his vehicle and running away.

Officers responded to the factory at about 2:30 a.m. for a man assaulting his girlfriend and saw a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s automobile traveling on the Eagle Way Bypass.

Lt. Seth Meek says officers were never in pursuit of the suspect because he wrecked just passed the Fort Campbell Boulevard intersection soon after he saw the officers.

Police searched the area, but were not able to locate the suspect on foot. The incident remains under investigation and Lt. Meek says police know the suspect’s identity.
