The five people charged in the September shooting death of Jerry Robertson were indicted by a Todd County Grand Jury Friday on charges of murder and complicity to murder.

According to a news release, 31-year old Daniel Westbrook has been indicted for murder, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and for being a persistent felony offender. Forty-one year old Douglas Cropper, 36-year old Timmie Latham, 22-year old Faith Martin and 26-year old Brandi Scruggs are all indicted for complicity to murder and tampering with physical evidence.  Latham is also charged with being a persistent felon.

As previously reported, Westbrook allegedly shot Robertson three times after Scruggs drove the victim in a car to the area just north of KY 848 on Stateline Road near Allensville. A pickup occupied by Westbrook and the three other suspects passed the car and then stopped in their path of travel, according to the KSP warrant, which says all five suspects fled in the pickup after Westbrook fired the weapon that Cropper provided to him.

Police say Robertson was still breathing when the suspects left, but he later died from his injuries at the scene.
