Three people were hurt and two were taken to a local hospital following a wreck on 68-80 near Britmart Road Wednesday afternoon.
According to the report from Christian County Sheriff’s Sergeant James Dragoo, a vehicle driven by 28-year old Jamie Campbell of Elkton was turning off of Britmart and onto Russellville Road. Campbell reported that he stopped and looked before crossing the road, but when he pulled out he struck a vehicle operated by 68-year old Charlotte Morrow of Elkton.
Morrow and her passenger, 69-year old Muriel Andrews of Elkton, were both transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Campbell was treated on scene by EMS for a head injury, but reportedly refused transportation to the hospital. Everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt.
