Former Oak Grove City Clerk Theresa Jarvis will serve as Oak Grove mayor after defeating incumbent Bea Burt and three other candidates Tuesday.
Oak Grove City Council will consist of the top six vote getters out of a field of 10 and they are Janet Edwards, James McKnight, Jackie Oliver, Isaiah Spencer, Kisha Jeffrey and Jean Leavell.
Crofton had a contested race for city commission with Anthony Durham, Gregory Owen, Lewis Croft, Brenda West, Jimmy Grace and Reta Fleming claiming the six seats.
