Todd Clerk to offer absentee voting next two Saturdays

Todd County Clerk Cindy O’Bryan says her office will be open the next two Saturdays for those wishing to cast an absentee ballot for the general election.

She told Fiscal Court Friday morning that in house absentee voting has been open during regular business hours for about a week.

Anyone who can’t make it to their polling place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on November 6th can vote on the absentee machine in the Todd County Courthouse between 9 a.m. and noon the next two Saturdays.

She says Tuesday is the last day to submit your completed application for a paper mail-in absentee ballot.

The Christian County Clerk’s Office is offering six hours of in-house absentee voting on the Saturday before Election Day from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

In other action Friday, Todd Fiscal Court approved first reading of an ordinance to reduce the speed limit on about three miles of Pond River Road between US 68 and KY 171 to 45 mph.
