Police are providing more details on a fatal shooting at a Louisville-area grocery store.
Just before 3 p.m. Wednesday a man entered the Kroger store in Jeffersontown and shot a man inside, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal.
He then fled to the parking lot, where he shot a woman. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. An armed citizen then exchanged shots with the suspect, but neither was wounded. The suspect then fled in a vehicle, but was soon stopped by police and gave up without incident. Police did not say if the killings were random or if the victims were targeted.
