Man arrested on heroin, cocaine charges following pursuit and crash

Kentucky State Police arrested a Clarksville man on heroin and cocaine charges following a vehicle pursuit that ended with a wreck on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Wednesday afternoon.

A trooper attempted to stop 29-year old Kevin Gilmore of Clarksville on Pembroke Road, but Gilmore allegedly accelerated and turned onto the Bypass and then onto 41A.

He then struck another vehicle driven by Whitney Grace, of Pembroke, who had to be transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Gilmore was arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in heroin, wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, tampering with evidence, reckless driving and several other crimes related to the pursuit.
