Bluegrass Preps.com has released its weekly polls. Beechwood is first in Class A with Crittenden County 7th. Mayfield tops the Class 2-A poll, Boyle County is first in Class 3-A, with Caldwell County ranked sixth and Paducah Tilghman 7th, Johnson Central heads Class 4-A with Franklin Simpson second, Madisonville seventh and Logan County ninth.
Covington Catholic remains on top in Class 5-A with Bowling Green second, South Warren third and Owensboro eighth. Frederick Douglass tops the Class 6-A poll this week.
The Cantrall Ratings from the Lexington Herald Leader have Hopkinsville ranked 13th in Class 4-A and Christian County ranked 10th in Class 5-A. Covington Catholic heads the statewide Top 25 poll, Bowling Green is tied for fifth, Mayfield is 10th, South Warren is 13th and Franklin Simpson is 22nd.
Meanwhile, in the Courier Journal Litkenhous polls, Christian County is ranked 10th in Class 5-A and Hopkinsville is 8th in Class 4-A. Covington Catholic remains number one in the statewide Top 20 poll.
