Kentucky State Police has released additional details on a three-vehicle accident Monday afternoon that killed a Trigg County man and has released the victim’s identity.
Trooper Jay Thomas says the accident happened about 3:20 p.m. when the victim’s SUV struck another vehicle near the intersection with Main Street on the east side of Cadiz.
The SUV hit another automobile before striking a power pole, with the driver pronounced dead at the scene.
The fatality victim has been identified as 55-year old Richard Manning of Cadiz. The driver of the first vehicle struck was 40-year old Lilly Wease of Cadiz and the driver of the second vehicle Manning’s hit was 64-year old Patrick Karrigan of Cadiz.
Neither Wease nor Karrigan required treatment of any injuries at a hospital.
Alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the crash, according to KSP.
