Gary Woodland shot an 11-under 61 to tie the course record Friday and join Marc Leishman in a share of the second-round lead at the PGA Tour’s CIMB Classic. Woodland and Leishman, who fired a 10 under 62 were at 14-under 130.
Kentuckian JB Holmes is tied for 10th at 10 under par with Justin Thomas tied for 15th at nine under. Nashville native Brandt Snedeker is at even par and tied for 63rd.
Four players share the led through two rounds of the KEB Hana Bank Championship on the LPGA Tour. American Danielle Kang is among the quartet at eight under. Princeton’s Emma Talley had a second round 76 and is tied for 70th at nine over par.
