Evidence testing still ongoing in Kenwood Drive murder case

Attorneys are hopeful all evidence testing will be completed in time for Sergio Del Angel to go to trial as scheduled on November 19th.

Commonwealth’s Attorney Lynn Pryor says ballistics testing has been delayed by investigation into officer-involved shootings in Kentucky, but she hopes it will be complete in time to go to trial.

Judge John Atkins set another pre-trial conference for October 17th at 11 a.m.

Del Angel is accused of shooting Kristofer Armstrong to death on Kenwood Drive in May of last year.
