A motorcyclist sustained a broken leg in an accident Sunday afternoon on Lafayette Road.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Goulet says it happened in the 7200 block of Lafayette Road when 46-year old Jared Trice of Hopkinsville attempted to avoid gravel on the pavement.
Trice was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Goulet says Trice was wearing a helmet and excessive speed does not appear to have been a factor.
