One person was killed and one was seriously injured in a t-bone collision Monday morning at the intersection of the Pennyrile Parkway and Eagle Way Bypass.
It happened about 8 a.m. and Hopkinsville Police Lt. Kyle Spurlin gave details to WHOP News at the scene.
The driver of the car, 39-year old Krissti Bryant of Oak Grove, was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Zach Lamb and an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday in Louisville. Her passenger, 17-year old David Bryant of Oak Grove, was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical, but stable condition. The driver of the grain truck, 46-year old Darrin Pepper of Hopkinsville, was not injured.
