The keynote speaker at next month’s Mayor’s Unity Breakfast will now be Hopkinsville Community College President, Dr. Alissa Young.
It had been announced as Kentucky Secretary of Education and Workforce Development Derrick Ramsey, but he could not appear due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts.
Unity Breakfast Planning Committee Chairman Jack Shah says in a news release, “We could not be more thrilled to have Dr. Young featured in this year’s special event. Her genuine passion for unity coupled with her always beautifully poised delivery are certainly something to look forward to.”
The breakfast is set for Thursday, October 25th at 7:30 at the James E. Bruce Convention Center.
