The 2012 murder of Army Sgt. Vincent Goslyn on Fidelio Road will be featured Friday night on Dateline NBC.
The YouTube trailer also features a clip of Christian County Sheriff’s Lt. Ed Stokes, who was one of the detectives who investigated the fatal shooting.
Goslyn’s wife—Jessie Goslyn—and her boyfriend, Jared Long, were arrested soon after the shooting and charged with his murder. Vincent had only been home a few days when Jessie lured him to drive onto Fidelio Road, where Long was pretending to have car trouble. Long shot Vincent to death when he got out to help.
Both took plea deals, with Jessie Goslyn sentenced to 22 years and Long to 30.
The episode will air at 9 p.m. Friday on NBC—Channel 4 on cable and satellite TV.
