There were long lines in the James E. Bruce Convention Center Thursday afternoon to try samples at the many local businesses represented at Taste of the Pennyrile and all of the money raised went to help fund Pennyroyal Hospice.
Eston Glover serves on the Hospice Board and says it’s a fun event that is close to the heart of those who support it.
All of the money goes to help those in the Pennyrile region who need end of life care in their home—whether they have the resources to afford it or not.
A total of money raised wasn’t available Thursday night, but Glover says they were very pleased with the attendance and with the community’s support.
