Three people were arrested by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department on felony drug charges Tuesday and Wednesday.

Deputy Kyler Harvey stopped 34-year old Destiny Dugent of Russellville just after noon Tuesday on the US 68 Bypass and a news release says a computer check showed she was wanted on warrants.

A search allegedly revealed methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

At about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Deputy Jordan Kennedy was on patrol at Briggs Lake and saw a suspicious pickup near the water. After receiving consent to search the vehicle, a news release says police found a hidden gun, drug paraphernalia, meth, marijuana, prescription pain-killers and other drugs.

Deputies charged 34-year old Ryan Douglas of Adairville with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and prescription pills not in the proper container—in addition to carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

Also arrested was 27-year old Kayla Stanfield of Russellville, who is charged with possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and prescription pills not in the proper container.
