Titans lose season opener at Miami

The Miami Dolphins overcame two lengthy weather delays as they outlasted the Tennessee Titans 27-20 in Miami. The game took more than seven hours to play after nearly four hours of delays due to lightning. Titans safety Kevin Byard comments on the loss:

Three key Titans suffered injuries in the game. Reports indicate tight end Delanie Walker suffered a dislocated ankle and could miss the rest of the season while quarterback Marcus Mariota left with an elbow injury and offensive lineman Taylor Lewan suffered a concussion. The Titans host the Houston Texans in their home opener next Sunday.
