The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary and assault at a Pine Street home from Monday night.
The victim told deputies that her estranged husband barged into her home without permission at about 9:30 p.m. and assaulted her boyfriend who was there.
The boyfriend was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where he was treated for a possible broken hand.
The victim’s juvenile son was also home and hid during the incident, according to the report.
The incident was captured on a cell phone video recording and provided to police. The suspect fled before police arrived and has not been arrested.
The incident remains under investigation.
