One person was killed and a Marshall County man was critically injured in a shooting Saturday night in far western Kentucky.
It happened about three and a half miles north of Bardwell inside a home, according to Kentucky State Police, who say the homeowner—30-year old Matthew Turnbow—shot 42-year old Harold Doug Compton of Grand Rivers and 49-year old Kelly Clanahan of Barlow.
Clanahan was killed and Compton is in critical, but stable condition at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville.
Turnbow was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and was served with a warrant for violation of an emergency protective order.
The shooting remains under investigation by KSP.
