The woman severely injured in a fire Tuesday morning at the Woodland Heights Apartments on Greenville Road has died from her injuries.
Kentucky State Police has confirmed that 22-year old Andra Pool of Hopkinsville died about 3 p.m. Thursday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Investigation by Detective Scott Steward determined the fire started in the area around the stove in the apartment, according to a news release.
The fire also claimed the life of 25-year old David Keys of Hopkinsville, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
As previously reported, firefighters and EMS were called to apartment G7 early Tuesday morning and found both victims inside.
