Report: Elkton man climbed through window of home

An Elkton man was arrested by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department Tuesday morning on a burglary charge.

Deputies were called to a Yoakum Circle residence about 8:20 a.m. after the homeowner said 34-year old Dustin Lee of Elkton had climbed inside through a bedroom window and was refusing to leave.

Lee was found lying on a bed in the home and police say he appeared to be under the influence of a substance. Lee told police he had walked there from Elkton to find a place to rest and that he was “trying to save himself from the devil,” according to the report.

He is charged with second-degree burglary and public intoxication.
