Madisonville Police say a woman involved in a single-vehicle accident over the weekend has died from her injuries.
As previously reported, 83-year old Dorothy Portwood of Carrolton, Illinois had been northbound on Island Ford Road about 10 a.m. Saturday when her vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree.
Portwood was flown to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville, where she died on Sunday.
