Hopkinsville Police are investigating after a car was stolen out of a West Seventh Street parking lot Saturday afternoon.
Jolene Dillard told Hopkinsville Police that she and her son went into the Dollar General at 1210 West Seventh about 3:15 p.m. and that her white 2002 Chevy Impala was gone when she came back outside 10 minutes later.
A witness said a white male suspect in a blue shirt drove off in the vehicle in an unknown direction.
The car has damage to the right-front bumper.
