Princeton’s Emma Talley plays her second round at the Ladies Scottish Open early this afternoon. Talley is at one over par following an opening round 72 Thursday.
At the Senior British Open at St. Andrews, Franklin’s Kenny Perry had an opening round four under 68 and Union’s Steve Flesch had a two over par 74. Both have afternoon tee times for round two. American Kirk Triplett and Thailand’s Thaworn Wiratchant are tied for the lead at seven under par.
The PGA Tour’s RBC Canadian Open’s first round play was suspended Thursday due to rain. The leader is Robert Garrigus, who fired an opening round nine under 63. Kentuckian JB Holmes had a two over 74 and Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker still has two holes to finish this morning as he is at three under through 16 holes. The second round will begin following the completion of the first round.
