The Owensboro River Dawgs completed a two game sweep of the Dubois County Bombers with a 6-3 win last night in the OVL East Division Final. The River Dawgs are now 32-14 while the Bombers finish the season 27-19.
The OVL Championship series begins tomorrow night at Independence Bank Field in Owensboro as the River Dawgs host the Hoptown Hoppers in game one of the best of three series. First pitch is at 7:05, with pregame at 6:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and whopam.com.
Game two of the series will be played Saturday night at Christian County High’s Colonel Field with game three, if needed, back in Owensboro Sunday.
