Man charged with stalking, violating EPO

Hopkinsville Police arrested a man for stalking Wednesday morning after he allegedly violated an emergency protective order.

The female victim called police to say 43-year old Bradley Shelton of Hopkinsville had been knocking on her door and gave a description of the vehicle he left in. Officers located him near the victim’s home and stopped his car.

A report says police found binoculars and a camera in his vehicle.

ECC was able to confirm Shelton had been served with the EPO ordering him to stay away from the victim. It was allegedly the third time he had violated the order in one day.

He was charged with first-degree stalking and violation of a Kentucky EPO.
