A Fort Campbell soldier has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in a wreck Monday on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in Clarksville and a Pembroke woman was driving the other vehicle involved.
Clarksville Police say 77-year old Mary Lancaster of Pembroke was southbound just before noon Monday and attempted to turn left onto South Hampton Place. She drove into the path of a southbound motorcycle operated by 23-year old Austin McWhite, who could not avoid a collision.
McWhite was pronounced dead at the scene and the incident remains under investigation by the Clarksville Police Department.
