Princeton’s Emma Talley fired her 6th straight round in the 60’s with a four-under 67 in the second round of the LPGA Tour’s Marathon Classic in Sylvania, OH. Talley at seven-under overall is tied for 4th just two shots back of the leaders heading into today’s third round.

Scott Parel grabbed a one-stroke lead in the Constellation Senior Players Championship, shooting a 6-under 66 in Friday’s second round to reach 11 under par. Jeff Maggert and Brandt Jobe are tied at 10 under. Three-time champion Bernhard Langer, defending champion Scott McCarron, Franklin’s Kenny Perry and Vijay Singh were in a pack two strokes off the lead. Paducah’s Russ Cochran is at even par.

Michael Kim took a four-shot lead Friday at the PGA Tour’s John Deere Classic in the Quad Cities, which was suspended twice because of weather concerns. Kim, who is winless in 84 career PGA Tour starts, was 16 under through 35 holes, with the second round to be completed this morning.
