Austin Peay announced today it will begin a national search for its new head coach. Rodney DeLong accepted the head coaching position at North Texas last month and took assistants Dillon Bryant and Jamie Allred with him. In their lone season in Clarksville, DeLong and his staff led the Governors softball program to a program-record 39 victories. Austin Peay finished second in the Ohio Valley Conference regular season race and third in the OVC tournament.
