One killed, one charged with murder in Clarksville collision

A woman was killed and a man has been charged with murder following a fatal collision on Peachers Mill Road in Clarksville Wednesday.

According to a news release from the Clarksville Police Department, the wreck occurred at the intersection of Peachers Mill and the 101st Airborne Division Parkway early Wednesday morning. Investigation determined a vehicle operated by 27-year old Bradley Vezeau of Clarksville allegedly failed to stop at a red light and continue through the intersection.

His vehicle struck another driven by Christopher Conroy and a passenger in that van—49-year old Judy Tapia of Clarksville—was ejected. She would die from her injuries.

Vezeau is charged with homicide and second-offense DUI. His bond is set at $300,000.  This will be Clarksville’s ninth traffic fatality in 2018.
