Cadiz-Trigg County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating a named suspect sought in connection with the armed robbery of the 4 Way Stop and Go on South Road Monday afternoon.
Officials say 22-year old James McBeth held up the clerk with a pistol and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash at about 1 p.m. Monday.
McBeth is described as a black male, standing about 6-1, weighing about 180 lbs. and he was last seen driving a red Honda—possibly a Civic—with tinted windows.
McBeth should be considered armed and dangerous and anyone knowing his whereabouts can call Cadiz-Trigg County Crime Stoppers at 270-522-INFO. Anyone providing information that leads to his arrest could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
