Motorcyclist flown to Vandy after Greenville accident

A motorcycle accident Wednesday evening in Greenville caused severe injuries to the biker.

The incident happened about 5:30 p.m., according to a news release from Greenville Police, which says 39-year old Bradley Lewis of Central City was southbound on a Harley Davidson on North Main Street when he crossed the center line, left the side of the road and struck the Greenville Street Department building.

Lewis was ejected from his bike and was flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
