The Hoptown Hoppers began a three game road trip last night with a 6-5 loss at Dubois County. The Hoppers had a 2-1 after three innings before the Bombers struck for four runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 5-2 lead. Hoptown would get three runs in the top of the sixth to tie the game at 5-5 before Dubois County scored the winning run in the bottom of the 8th.
Aidan Elias and Cole Cummings had two hits each for the Hoppers with reliever Kendall Marshall taking the pitching loss. The Hoppers are back in action tomorrow night at Madisonville.
