US Open update

Dustin Johnson shot a 3-under-par 67 in the second round of the U.S. Open to grab a three-stroke lead after the morning session. Playing under control throughout, Johnson shot 33 on the back nine, with birdies on the 11th and 16th holes. Johnson is in the clubhouse at four under par 136.

Tiger Woods is going to need some help to make the cut after finishing the second round at two over par 72, leaving him at 10 over 150 for the tournament.

The regional contingent scoreboard has Louisville area native Justin Thomas at four over par 144 following an even par 70 today. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker stands at eight over par 148 following a six over 76 and Franklin’s Kenny Perry is at 18 over 158 following a 79 today.
