During an interview with a Nashville radio station today, Washington Capitals coach Barry Trotz looked back on the Caps first Stanley Cup title won last week and credited his time as coach of the Nashville Predators in part for Washington’s victory. Trotz was Predators coach from the franchise’s inception in 1997-2014. He just completed his third season as Washington coach.
