Princeton’s Emma Talley finished tied for 28th at the LPGA Tour’s Shoprite Classic. Talley’s six under par 207 earned her over $13,000. Annie Park was the victor at 16 under par 197.
Tom Lehman won the rain shortened PGA Tour Champions Principal Charity Classic in Des Moines IA Sunday. Lehman finished two rounds at 13 under par 131. Paducah’s Russ Cochran tied for ninth at eight under 136 and Franklin’s Kenny Perry tied for 54th at one under 143.
Dustin Johnson reclaimed the top spot in the World Golf Rankings following his win Sunday at the PGA Tour’s Fed Ex St. Jude Classic in Memphis. Johnson had a walk off chip in eagle on the 18th hole to finish at 19 under, six shots ahead of Andrew Putnam. Kentuckian JB Holmes was third at nine under 271 while Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker tied for sixth at seven under 273.
