Hoppers defeat Fulton

The Hoptown Hoppers completed a two game home stand last night with a 13-5 rout of the Fulton Railroaders. The Hoppers scored three times in the first, then the Railroaders got a run in the second before the Hoppers scored nine runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings. Blake Jackson had a big night going 3-4 including a three run home run. Cody Hartness, Matt Keane and John Michael Reed each had two hits.

Trey Fields went six strong innings to get his second win of the season as the Hoppers improved to 7-1 while Fulton fell to 3-4. The Hoppers are back in action tonight at Madisonville.
