No injuries in crash involving fire truck

No one was injured in an accident involving a Hopkinsville Fire Department fire engine Thursday night.

It happened a few minutes after 10 p.m., according to the collision report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Jamie Gapp, which says 35-year old Reginald Waddell of Hopkinsville turned out of the Scott’s Market parking lot on East Ninth Street and struck the passenger side of a southbound fire truck driven by 62-year old Anthony Harris.

Harris took evasive action, but was unable to avoid a collision.

No one was injured in the incident and everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
