Primary election underway in Kentucky

Polls have opened across Kentucky for the primary election.

In Christian County, Elections Coordinator Melinda Humphries says a machine had to be replaced at the Christian County Middle School precinct after a mistake by a poll worker.

Todd County Clerk Cindy O’Bryan says they haven’t had any issues with voting so far.

Trigg County Clerk Carmen Finley says they’ve had a smooth start to the election.
