Three people were injured, including two who were flown to a Nashville hospital, following a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Logan County.

It happened at the intersection of Terry Wilcutt Road and Stuart Smotherman Road about 12:20 p.m., according to a news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.

Police say 30-year old Francisco Salinas of Alabama was headed north on Terry Wilcutt Road when 35-year old Joshua Parker of Lewisburg crossed into his path on Stuart Smotherman.

A t-bone collision ensued and Salinas had to be extricated from the automobile. He was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for head and facial injuries. His passenger, 35-year old Waleemar Mejia of Alabama, was treated first at Logan Memorial Hospital and then flown to Skyline for possible internal injuries.
