Haworth leaving Hopkinsville for Louisville Male

Tim Haworth is leaving the Hopkinsville High program to become the new boys head coach at Male High in Louisville. Haworth spent eight seasons as Tiger head coach, compiling a 200-58 record. Haworth’s Tiger teams had three 30 win seasons and six 20 win seasons during his tenure.

He led the Tigers to six consecutive 2nd region championship appearances and five trips to the Boys Sweet 16, which included an appearance in the semifinals in 2013 when Hopkinsville lost to eventual state champion Madison Central.

Haworth is being replaced on an interim basis by Larry Miller, who was a girls assistant this past season and before that served as a boys assistant for several years.
