Three running for Commonwealth’s Atty in Todd, Logan

The May primary election is less than a month away and there’s a Republican primary for Commonwealth’s Attorney in Todd and Logan County.

Speaking at last week’s Elkton Rotary Club forum, Joe Hendricks touted his experience as a prosecutor in Georgia as reason to vote for him

Neil Kerr is an attorney in Logan County and says all of his experience is in Kentucky and he vows to treat everyone fairly.

The winner will face the only Democrat running, acting Commonwealth’s Attorney Justin Crocker, who says he would establish office hours in Todd County, if elected.

Commonwealth’s Attorney Gail Guiling has chosen not to run for reelection as she fights her own legal battle after being indicted last year for engaging in organized crime.
