With Christian County Public Schools to be closed Friday to allow teachers to go to Frankfort to rally for public school funding in the budget, it appears that day will be made up during the week of graduation.
Christian County High School Principal Chris Bentzel is praising local teachers for meeting earlier in the week and coming up with a plan that was suitable to district leadership.
Bentzel points out that it has to be approved by the school board, but he’s hearing school will be in session May 24th to make up the day of instruction.
Bentzel made his comments during his regular appearance on the Early Bird Show.
