A Benton man died following a single-vehicle accident Friday night on US 68 in Marshall County.
It happened about 10 p.m., according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, which says a vehicle driven by 40-year old Bailey Averitt of Benton flipped several times. Averitt was ejected during the crash and was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, where he died from his injuries.
