Man charged with third DUI

A Cadiz man was arrested Wednesday for his third DUI in 10 years after he reportedly drove into a ditch while intoxicated.

According to the Hopkinsville police report, 33-year old Jeremy Woolf of Cadiz attempted to pull into a driveway and missed, driving into a ditch. Officers allegedly smelled a strong odor of alcohol on his person, he had slurred speech and he reportedly performed poorly on field sobriety tests.

Woolf allegedly admitted to drinking four alcoholic beverages. The report states he blew a .234 on the Breathalyzer test.

He was charged with DUI, no operator’s license, failure to maintain insurance and failure to register the vehicle.
