The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the theft of a vehicle from Dixie Drive Wednesday afternoon.
According to the police report, the Chevrolet had broken down on Dixie Drive and the owner had to leave it there temporarily. When the owner returned, he discovered the vehicle was gone, but he had not had it towed. The keys had not been left in the vehicle.
No suspects are listed on the report and the investigation continues.
